Une exoplanète c’est quoi ?

C’est une planète qui tourne autour d’une autre étoile que le Soleil. Elle ne fait donc pas partie de notre système solaire…

Notre conférencière, Mathilde Timmermans, fait sa thèse à l’Uliège sur ce sujet passtionant !


Elle abordera le système TRAPPIST-1 (découvert par son équipe) , les différentes méthodes de détection des exoplanètes, la grande question de l’habitabilité et plein d’autres choses encore !
